My Statement of Belief; What I Believe about the Bible

I believe in the Trinity: God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit are three Persons present in one God.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and is God, born of a virgin, crucified as punishment for the sins of mankind, resurrected on the third day, ascended into Heaven, and is coming back to rule and reign forever.

I believe that the only way to eternal salvation is through personal belief that the blood of Jesus is all-sufficient for the penalty of sin and an acceptance of him into your life as Lord and Saviour.

I believe in salvation by grace alone, and that salvation is immediate and eternal upon acceptance of Jesus as a one-time sacrifice for your sins, and not obtained through any works, sacraments, traditions or merits of our own.

Salvation does not include any form of works, such as observance of Communion and Baptism. Even though as believers we are to observe Communion and be baptised; these are not part of, or necesary to be saved. Upon being born again we are baptised with the Holy Spirit; but this is completely different than water baptism.
