Was God created? Who created God? Why did God make me?

Here are a few questions often asked by those questioning the existence of God. Was God created? Where does God come from? Where was God created? Why does God allow suffering? Why did God make me? Is the Word of God, the Bible? We could go on with many other questions; but let us see if we can answer a few here.

The Bible states that in the beginning was the word and the word was God. This may have something to do with how God was created. "In the beginning God..." This simply means that God was there before the beginning and He has no beginning. He was always there. That may be difficult to understand but we are not able to understand everything about God. God always was, always is, and always will be God. He was there at the beginning and will be there when the world comes to an end. He will always be God. You often see God to refered to present tense, such as 'I Am'. This means He is in the present tense in eternity past, present and eternity future all at same time.

God, He is eternal, indicating that there is “no beginning and no ending” of Him. God’s existence is within Himself. He is self-existent. He caused us to be, but nothing caused Him to be. He always was and ever shall be God. God the Father is the creator of man, but only the Father of those who have accepted His Son Jesus.

God was the one who created all things; so He was not created; actually there was nothing or no one to create Him; even if this was possible.

God created us, not because he needed us but he wanted too. He created us so we could love Him and worship Him.

John 1:1~3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
