God's Love and God's Judgement

Beliefs about Life after Death

Where will I go when I die? Is there life after death? If so what happens after you die? Is death the end of life or is there something else?

There are some who believe that once you die, there is no more existence of any kind. On the other hand even though many believe that there is some sort of existance they are not sure of what that exactly means. The Bible gives us a quite of bit of information about where I will go when I die; but either they don't believe it or simply just never read God's word to find out what it says.

If there was no existence after death then there would be no Heaven or no Hell. There would have been no purpose of Jesus coming to this earth in bodily form and then taking on the cruel death of Crucifixion on the cross for our sins. If our existence ended here after death, why would Jesus die for our sins, with no eternal purpose.

There is a saying that 'there are no atheists in a foxhole'. In reality when we are at a point in our lives that we think we are facing our death, I believe almost everyone wonders if there is just something after this. In Heb. 9:27 it says "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment".

Don't kid yourself about what awaits the future. If you knew or believed what the future has in store for those who have not given their life to Christ; you would be in such fear you would run to Christ and beg for forgiveness.

Yes, it is your life and also your eternal destiny; but let me tell, you once you take your last breath here, there is no more opportunity to repent. There will be no arguments left for you to secure your way into Heaven. There will only await an eternal destiny in an awful place called Hell. So where will I go when I die; consider reading in God's word about what Hell is like and then compare to what Heaven is like. Where would rather be, you will be in one or the other.

How much does it cost? What's it worth? Both are interesting questions.

Cost is the amount it takes to complete a purchase such as a bill, tab, or monetary expense; while worth is the usefulness of the object, the benefit, value, and importance of the thing purchased. We justify the paying a certain cost based on the personal worth that accompanies that purchase. In our minds we juggle the unemotional, hard facts of cost along with the subjective, appeals of worth.

Worth either convinces the buyer that either the cost is acceptable or it is not. The difference between handling our money wisely or foolishly is largely determined between cost and worth.

We can determine your scale of values by the things you purchase. Or, to use the words of Jesus in Matt. 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also".

So next time you ask, "How much does it cost?" think also about "What's it worth?"

Salvation is free for you. Jesus Christ paid the price of your sin when he took the burden of all the sin of mankind on Himself at the cross.

Do you know that you are a sinner? The Bible says in Rom.6:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". That 'all' includes everyone of us. Since we all have sinned we needed someone to pay for that sin and that someone is Jesus Christ.

Consider Jesus Christ today, call on Him to save you; after all He is waiting for you to come to Him.

So you must consider "How much does it cost to not accept Jesus Christ?" Think also about "What's it worth to accept Jesus Christ?"
